Stable isotopes ratios are nature's black box recorder. Tiny variations in the chemical make up of plants and animals, reveal where these organisms have grown and how they live. We have twenty years experience of analyzing and interpreting stable isotope ratios to understand the ecology and migration of animals, trace sources of pollution and productivity in different environment and to identify the source and authenticity of different foods.

About Atomic Ecology
Atomic Ecology is an independent stable isotope research and services company. Established by Dr Brian Hayden in 2025, we provide consulting, analytical and training services to private sector, government and academic researchers anywhere in the world.

Brian began working with stable isotopes in 2005 as a PhD student and hasn't stopped. He is a professor at the University of New Brunswick where he directs the Stable Isotopes in Nature Laboratory, a highly successful semi-commercial stable isotope analysis facility.
